A word unscramble is a list of words and phrases whose letters have been mixed up. Each scrambled word or phrase is followed by a space in which to write the unscrambled words. The list is numbered, so that the scrambled words and phrases may be easily matched to the unscrambled solutions, which are provided on the following page. Word unscrambles can be used as a fun exercise for teaching language concepts such as letter sounds and spelling, as well as to reinforce vocabulary. Here is a list of samples:
